On Monday the 2nd of November at the Hudson Hotel, Seven Hills, the Summit will put Western Sydney’s future under the spotlight through the lens of women in our region. 

Western Sydney Women are proud to announce our latest event - Women Leading AI. This event has been designed to connect women founders, entrepreneurs, industry leaders and students in Western Sydney to confidently lead with AI and emerging technologies. During the workshop, attendees will receive a take home toolkit provided that can be taken away and implemented right away.

On Tuesday, 3 March 2026, Western Sydney Innovation Connect: Women x Industry brought women founders together with industry leaders for a full day of pitching, panels and honest conversation at the Joan, Penrith.

The Future of Women in Western Sydney Summit, held on 4 September 2025 at Hudson Hotel & Events Centre, brought together leaders, community, students, businesses and changemakers to explore how we can shape a brighter future for the women and girls of Western Sydney.

Yet after a decade of championing the region’s women and girls, Western Sydney Women (WSW) knows one truth better than anyone: growth that leaves women out isn’t growth at all.

Western Sydney Women is proud to support the Habitat Women program which empowers women with a positive learning experience building their confidence and skills in a way that leads to employment in maintenance and repairs in the building and construction industry. 

WSW held a Future is Bright STEM and Trades Bootcamp, partnering with Endeavour Energy (NSW) to empower high school girls to expand their career options

During June we held Careers Connect Job Readiness Training and Jobs Information Sessions in Parramatta and Penrith, connecting with almost 100 women looking to re-enter the workforce or change their careers.

WSW held a Future is Bright STEM and Trades Bootcamp, partnering with Endeavour Energy (NSW) to empower high school girls to expand their career options

In March we launched our Future Not Followers program which aims to equip high school girls with financial literacy skills. This impactful initiative is set to reach five schools across regional NSW, from Bathurst to Bowral.

On March 8th 2024, International Women’s Day, we gathered 300 attendees at Oatlands Estate for the Future of Women in Western Sydney Summit, featuring 29 change makers and leaders of Western Sydney.

For our first roundtable for 2024, hosted at Organica in the Inner West, Allegra Spender MP, federal member for Wentworth, discussed the significance of authenticity for women in leadership roles, emphasising the importance of the gender lens and the pivotal role diversity plays in politics.

For our cohort of women in our Build Your New Career program, the next couple of weeks will reveal the endless opportunities that are available in the construction and trades industries.

Spanning across our three Future is Bright STEM & Trades Bootcamps in 2023, we partnered with Endeavour Energy to expand career choices for over 110 girls from 25 high schools across Western Sydney.

A special feature in The Australian Financial Review today highlighted the important work being done in Western Sydney including our very own STEM programs for high school girls and executive women.

We recently had the privilege of partnering with Endeavour Energy to hold the second of our Future is Bright STEM & Trades Bootcamps for high school girls at Endeavour Energy’s Technical Training Centre in Prestons.
