Amanda Rose – Founder & CEO
Growing up and living in Western Sydney often has a stigma with a negative connotation, preventing women from realising their true potential and to live a safe, happy and financially secure life.
My passion is to give a voice to the voiceless and to instigate generational change for women.

Katelyn Paech – Marketing Manager
Katelyn works at the intersection of policy, communications, and marketing, using strategic thinking and creativity to support women-led initiatives and drive meaningful impact.
At the heart of her work is a passion for creating change through strategy, storytelling, and design. With a background in the non-profit, community, and education sectors, she helps purpose-driven organisations bring their marketing and design goals to life.
Alongside her creative work, she advocates for stronger policies and greater support for women, with a focus on small business ownership and financial independence. She is especially passionate about the power of strategic messaging to elevate voices, influence change, and create lasting impact.
Kathryn Price – Media and PR Advisor
Founder and director of Ruby Agency, you might also know her as: “new mum slammed for going back to work a week after giving birth” (cheers Sunrise, but we still love you), but she’ll respond better to: “firecracker who chose to be a mum and a business woman and is bloody good at both”.
First and foremost, Kat is a mum of 2 beautiful girls who tag along for the business ride, they're her sidekicks.
With a crowd of creative and compassionate clients on her books, Kathryn prides herself on finding the hidden gem in your business thanks to her knack for storytelling, cutting to the chase and keeping it real. She has a no ‘BS’ approach to PR and marketing. Her mission is to make her clients thought leaders in their industries.
Sarah Cassim – Western Sydney Business Women Lead
Western Sydney Business Women's lead and Hawkesbury’s Citizen of the Year for 2025, the multi-award-winning Sarah Cassim is a respected consultant, speaker, emcee and community leader. With a background in marketing, strategy and advocacy, she is the founder of Hawkesbury Women in Business and co-founder of the marketing agency, Bright Orange Door. Sarah is known for her sharp communication skills, emotionally intelligent leadership and the sheer dedication to lifting up women in business and the community.
Tiz Porreca – Mentor
As Founder and Director of AMONGST Marketing, Tiz knows it takes strategy, not a ‘scatter-gun’ approach. Tiz gets amongst a business to create strategies that make authentic, meaningful connections amongst their audience, while optimising existing assets to deliver tangible results, without breaking the bank.
Tiz brings 20-plus years’ experience, having worked in companies of all sizes, including high level branding projects in advertising, before establishing AMONGST.
In 2018, she was instrumental in developing Inner West Council’s Women in Business Mentoring program, also serving as its marketing mentor. Tiz has collaborated with Western Sydney Women since it began in 2015 and served as President and in other leadership roles in prominent business referrals groups .

Our Programs
We have developed, and continue to develop, a range of research-based programs, designed to support women to build confidence, succeed in all stages of their career, small business, train in new fields, and gain financial independence.
