The federal budget is off to a good start when it comes to access to training/skills for girls and women however they need to be practical in the rollout or they'll fail to engage and retain girls/women in trades. Graduates of The Future is Bright in Aviation spent a day at the Powerhouse Museum seeing drones in action, asking questions and exploring the Aviation and Aerospace Exhibit, which included an up-close look at the historic Catalina aircraft.

Aviation Experience Day – The Future is Bright
Earlier this week high school girls from Western Sydney, as part of The Future is Bright in Aviation program, were given the opportunity to fly a 737 flight simulator, plan a cross-country navigation exercise, conduct an extensive tour of SFC's aircraft fleet, and even hear from Nina, a C130J Hercules Captain in the RAAF.

Grow Your Future is a career growth mentoring program, designed to encourage women to re-enter the workforce or start their career. This program will help women build confidence and prepare them for future employment opportunities.
