The Future is Bright in Trades Graduation

On Wednesday we celebrated the graduation of The Future is Bright Trades Program 2022 at Endeavour Energy.

The Future is Bright Mentoring Program is one of Western Sydney Women's initiatives, founded by Amanda Rose with the intention of empowering the next generation of women and high school girls to consider and pursue careers in STEM, Trades and Aviation and provide them with the tools they need to succeed.

Our Trades mentoring program was centred around creating connections for high school females who are interested in Trades careers, through one-on-one mentoring, building confidence with experience days and networking events and providing guidance with career planning, job readiness tools and connecting the girls with employment opportunities.

The 6-month Trades program was launched last June, with the support of the Investing in Women initiative by the NSW Government.

In our Trades program, we have 12 amazing high school girls who participated from different schools, The Australian International Academy, Catherine McAuley Westmead, CathWest Innovation College, Wyndham College and Korowal School.

A big thank you to the wonderful teachers, our fantastic mentors and guest speakers who made themselves available to support the girls throughout the program.
